Prizes for lowest time in each category! The annual ascent of West Tillen challenges all hill climbers alike. Every year marks an attempt to break course record of 6:08 held by Chris Michaels. It is a 1.5 mile relentless climb gaining 535ft. Bring your compact gearing and your climbing legs. Recommended gearing 39×25.For directions and parking, go to the course map details. There is a portable toilet located at South Boston Park on Boston Cross road across from the church. TT to be followed by a hilly group ride. We will shoot for 20 miles & 2000 feet daylight depending. Buffalo triathlon club will also be time trailing right before us with BTC riders starting at 6PM.

BBC vs BTC Club Time Trial Challenge in Memory of Glenn Hansen – BBC Series @ GP:50

BBC vs. BTC TT Challenge

Proceeds to benefit Roswell Park Cancer Hospital. Registration will be open from 5:30 – 6:30, start time is 6:30. Riders will start at 1 minute intervals. Points will be awarded to the top riders in each category, total points will determine the overall club winner! No USAC license required, “open” categories mean aero gear is allowed, “cannibal” categories mean no aero gear. (Aero wheels with a maximum depth of 54 mm – Zipp 404 style – are OK).

If you are not a member of either club please just show up and pick the team that you want to ride for.  Open Men, Men’s Cannibal (no aero equipment), Men’s master 50+, Women Open, Women Cannibal (no aero equipment) Women 50+.  Scoring will be in the following format; Number of entries in each category. If we get 25 in one cat and so forth;1st gets 25 pts + 4pt bonus, 2nd 2pt bonus 3rd 1pt bonus4th gets 21 pts all the way to 25th that gets 1 pt.  Also, each member that signs in will count as 5 points for their team.

This way all participants are contributing to their particular team. All proceeds go to Roswell in memory of one of the BBC’s legendary TT specialists Glenn Hansen. A trophy will go to the club that wins the most combined points!

Mongi’s Maple Fondo Ride CANCELED @ Ploetz's Maple Farm

You’re invited to attend the 4th annual, Mongi’s Maple Fondo Ride!

This scenic and moderately challenging fondo ride will include rolling hills through the southern tier. There is a choice between 80 or 40-mile routes.  The first 100 participants registered will receive a commemorative 3D patch!

This fondo is FREE for BBC full members. Become a 2020 FULL MEMBER for access to all the BBC training races/rides/events. Additionally, you’ll receive free registration for the USAC sanctioned BBCChampionship race this summer! The “Full Stack” 80-mile route leaves from Cafe Aroma 957 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo, NY 14222 at 9:00am. This route will rendezvous with the short stack route at chestnut ridge and then proceed to Ploetz’s Maple Farm 12949 Dowd Rd, Springville, NY 14141. Route: https://www.strava.com/routes/17230451

At Ploetz’s Maple Farm, riders will receive a tour of the sugar shack and a chance to refuel on all you can eat pancakes with PURE maple syrup!

NOTE: This ride is NOT supported.  You are responsible for bringing your own supplies, tubes, food, hydration, phone, etc. There is NOT a sag wagon. Turns are NOT marked, if you are separated from the group, you are responsible for knowing the route.
