SUMMARY:BBC Group Ride: Two Days of Buffalo RR Preview (*Revised Date)
DESCRIPTION:This event is a Buffalo Bicycling Club group ride. You must be a member to participate. To join\, click here. \nJoin us to preview the Two Days of Buffalo Road Race Course that we’ll be racing on in three weeks!  This race is put on by our friends at the East Aurora Racing Club.  Check out the full race information and registration here! \nParking:\nPark at West Canal County Park in Pendleton.  Address: 4070 Tonawanda Creek Rd\, North Tonawanda\, NY 14120 \nCourse:\nClick Here to View the Course Page.  Team Projekt will be leading us on a large Northtowns loop\, then heading over to the road race circuit for some laps. \nThe race circuit itself is a 7.3 mile flat loop.  You won’t get much flatter than this\, but watch for the crosswinds!  This is a cooperative ride composed of an A\, B\, and C group\, with a designated sweeper for the C group.  Start with one group and drop back to the next group as needed since we’ll all be on the same course!  Stick with our ride leaders and sweepers for the amount of laps below. \nGroups:\n\n\n\n\nA Group\nB Group\nC Group\n\n\nDistance\n(42mi)\n (32mi)\n (32mi)\n\n\nPace\n18-20mph\n16-18mph\n15-17mph\n\n\n\nWhat You Should Expect on Ride Day:\n\nPlease plan to arrive early to get into your riding clothes and get your bike ready.  You need a working road bike\, helmet\, and shoes.\nCheck in with a BBC officer at the parking lot\nDetermine which group you’ll ride with.  Your ride group is the same category as you would participate in for our club races.  Newer riders start in the B/C fields.  If you are a faster novice rider and can safely and comfortably ride in the A group\, please ask a BBC officer for guidance.\nAt 10am\, we will be rolling out together and onto the course for the distances above.
